It’s such an honour for me to be asked to capture the most amazing moments in someone’s life. Whether it’s a wedding, the wonder of pregnancy or falling completely, head-over-heals in love with a new baby, being able to freeze moments in time so when there are tougher days ahead in your marriage or battling toddler tantrums, you can look at the images and feel the same wave of love of you felt then and get strength from it – that to me is a priceless gift and the power of amazing photography. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful mom-to-be and a few weeks later, her beautiful baby girl. Here are some images from both sessions.
I had been meaning to add my favourite images from sessions as far back as October but like most photographers, the time leading up to the Holidays is our busiest time and I fell behind on my blog. My bad. So rather than put a whole bunch of images on one post, I finally created some albums on my Facebook Fan Page. So if you want to see more than what I showcase on my website check it out and become a fan! I’ll continue to add albums and images from recent photo sessions there. Sometimes women are really excited about doing belly shots when they are pregnant while others have a harder time celebrating their new found curves. I managed to convince a good friend that she should do a maternity photo shoot with me and I was thrilled to hear how amazed she was with the results. I love hearing that I’ve made people look more beautiful than they thought possible and know that I’ve captured a special time in their lives. And now, I can’t wait to meet the little bundle of joy that’s still in that belly! Stay tuned for the newborn photos!
