What a nice surprise to come home after a week at the cottage to find a couple of copies of Homes & Cottages, Canada’s Largest Building and Renovating Magazine, in our stack of mail. Although I have been published in the past, this is the first time since I’ve had my business and the first time I’ve landed a cover! Pretty exciting!
Last year, I was hired by Job Doctor, the contractor who had done the addition to our house to not only photograph our final results, but also two other homes they had done extensive work on, including the one featured in the magazine. The three-storey floating staircase is the focal point and a true masterpiece. If you have a chance to pick up the magazine, the story of transformation on this house is really incredible! I look forward to photographing more of their amazing work in the future. The two-storey addition is now a play room on the main floor and my photography studio on the second floor. I love having both these spaces so seamlessly added to the rest of the house.
