A wonderful backyard wedding went off without a hitch yesterday even though there was talk of thunder showers. Luckily the weather gods were on our side! The bride’s childhood home is nestled in the woods a stone’s throw from the village of Carp just outside of Ottawa. Although it was still hot, it was definitely cooler there than in the city.
